It’s not especially cerebral, I’ll grant you, but I have to confess that I find this sketch from Conan O’Brien inexplicably amusing.  Added bonus: Conan’s weird laughter at the end of the clip.

I was reminded of this today by the strange loud fellow who replaced Tony Blankley (no model of cool decorum himself) on the McLaughlin Report this morning, and who seemed to creep out the rest of the regulars.  It stuck me that this fellow might have been an escapee from O’Brien’s  version of Meet the Press—a program that would of course be more entertaining and probably more informative than Tim Russert’s Sunday morning review of Washington mouthpieces.
