Well, no. But I want one. Would it be too lame, even for me, to buy a thing like this (it’s 4″x4″x1.5″) to use to try to keep me grading on pace? Could I bring it to Kopi without getting beaten up?

That would be hilarious. Do it! (But please position a comrade to capture the action on film as you slam the timer down and move on to the next paper!)
You could probably also find a freeware software timer for your computer that might help accomplish the same thing in a, er, more subtle manner.

Well, I decided that this was just too dorky. But I like the idea of being Bobby Fischer with a red pen. (Well, minus the crazy anti-semitism and etc.). Maybe your freeware idea is worth considering. . .
